He has an interest in all general neurological presentations including headache, epilepsy and neuromuscular disorder, and a sub-speciality interest in stroke.

He completed his neurology training at St George, John Hunter and Gosford Hospitals. He has undertaken a neurovascular/stroke fellowship at John Hunter Hospital.

Khaled Alanati is passionate about teaching and is involved in medical education, having taught medical students on hospital wards and in clinics.
