Dr Yun Tae Hwang

Dr Yun Tae Hwang has a special interest in dementia and other cognitive disorders particularly in those under the age of 65, neurodegenerative disorders including Parkinson’s disease, and complex headaches.


Dr Hwang is available at Erina.

He also attends the Procognition Clinic at Tumbi Umbi.


Dr Hwang is a general neurologist with a special interest in dementia, leukodystrophy, and complex headaches. He has completed the Headache Masterclass organised by the International Headache Society and following a cognitive fellowship at the Dementia Research Centre, University College London, he is currently pursuing a doctorate in dementia and sleep disturbance at the Brain and Mind Centre at the University of Sydney.

He is also a member of the Specialist Medical Review Council, an independent statutory body responsible to the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs; the Health Reform Reference Group of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians; and the Scientific Panel on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Dementia of European Academy of Neurology.
